Dancing in Nature

As the air temperatures heat up , so do the biochemical reactions in the woods and trees. Ever green forests smell their strongest in mid summer.  It is this 'pinoslyvin' thats stimulates our respiration and relaxes us. Being in wide open spaces expands our peripheral vision which allows our nervous system to feel safe and relax. We will be dancing in the beautiful countryside of Rossendale, at Susan and Lynda Ashworths Far Pastures Farm. Using 'silent disco' headsets you will experience and fully immersive sound experince with the  theme of nature sounds and music to bring your awareness to the magnificence  and our connection within nature. 

Nature has always been at the heart of my movement inspiration and guided me in my dance creations, choreographing and words used to enhance the whole experience.

The session starts promptly at 10.30am , please arrive early to find the farm and to set up with your headsets. 

If the weather is warm enough we will stop for a social afterwards, bring a light snack and drink.

We will continue in light rain as it is part of the experience. If the rain is heavy we will cancel and re schedule for another date. If not convienent we will offer a refund. ( sorry no refunds if your personal circumstances change and you can not make it )  The event is for over 10 year olds only. 

We have limited places due to number of headsets so please book early.
